<p>Bernard H. LaBrecque, Jr., 77, of Lebanon, Maine, passed peacefully on May 27, 2022, after a brief illness, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Bernard (Bernie) loved the outdoors and enjoyed landscaping. You could always find Bernie on the dance floor, he loved music and dancing. He loved being around friends and family and playing cards with his friends. He loved to relax with his little dog Emma and grand dog Miko. He had a passion for flying and accomplished his goal of getting his pilot&rsquo;s license.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his father Bernard Sr. and mother Rita Emery as well as his brothers Ronald, Roland, and Richard.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Bernie is survived by his longtime partner of 22 years, Nickey, and his sister, Priscilla Hilton and her spouse Gary, as well as many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery located on Stanley Road in Springvale, Maine.&nbsp; A celebration of life service will follow at The Amvets on 169 School Street, Sanford, Maine.</p>

Obituary

Bernard H. LaBrecque, Jr., 77, of Lebanon, Maine, passed peacefully on May 27, 2022, after a brief illness, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.

 

Bernard (Bernie) loved the outdoors and enjoyed landscaping. You could always find Bernie on the dance floor, he loved music and dancing. He loved being around friends and family and playing cards with his friends. He loved to relax with his little dog Emma and grand dog Miko. He had a passion for flying and accomplished his goal of getting his pilot’s license.

 

He is preceded in death by his father Bernard Sr. and mother Rita Emery as well as his brothers Ronald, Roland, and Richard.

 

Bernie is survived by his longtime partner of 22 years, Nickey, and his sister, Priscilla Hilton and her spouse Gary, as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery located on Stanley Road in Springvale, Maine.  A celebration of life service will follow at The Amvets on 169 School Street, Sanford, Maine.
