Debra Kay Burroughs, 58, of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away June 4, 2022. Debbie was born December 14, 1963 in Harrisburg, Illinois, the daughter of Cleve and Ruth (Murphy) Milburn. She married James Robert (Jim Bob) Burroughs on May 29, 2004. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2020. Debbie worked as a seamstress for Nationwide Glove Factory in Harrisburg for many years until its closure. She then went to work for the Cap Factory in Eldorado. She is survived by her mother: Ruth Milburn of Harrisburg, step-children: Darrin Burroughs, James Ray (Jill) Burroughs both of Harrisburg, Angela Williams, and Kathy (Johnny) Jackson of Mississippi. Nieces Brooke (Sean) Lunt, Sara Milburn of St. Elmo, Amanda Watson of Beecher City, and Melissa (Eric) Doan of Texas. Grandchildren Jeff, Donna, Logan, Sylvi, Hatcher, Charlie, Gabe, Ricky, Alyssa, Tyler, Michael, and several great-grandchildren. Debbie is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Debbie was preceded in death by her father; husband, James Robert (Jim Bob); brother: Clinton Milburn. Graveside services at Salem Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation after 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Roy Dale Orr will officiate. Absher- Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of arrangements.Obituary
