Sue Ann Martindale

Sue Ann Wooldridge Martindale was born May 12, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and died June 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Herschel "Hoop" Wooldridge and Willie Faye Cacy and one sister Buelah Mae. She is survived by her husband Burl "Peewee" of the home, son Mark of Tulsa, sister Saundra Arnold of Tulsa, and a host of extended family and friends including special neighbors, the Elliott family. <br /><br />Sue graduated from Berryhill High School in 1956. She played basketball and was a majorette in the band. Sue's first job was in the mailroom at Oral Roberts University. She then worked for Nelson Electric for many years and retired in 1988 after 25 years with DuPont. <br /><br />Peewee and Sue married in 1958 and were married 63 years. They enjoyed being outdoors where Sue loved to fish, work with flowers, and mow the yard. They also have fond memories of camping. Sue is known for her beautiful quilts she made during the winter months and her yummy cooking. Her famous beans and cornbread and fried potatoes were enjoyed by many over the years. <br /><br />Peewee would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff that have loved and cared for Sue the last few years. <br /><br />
