Anthony Edward “Tony” Ranieri, age 64 of Griffin passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at WellStar North Fulton Hospital.

Tony was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 7, 1958. His father, Angelo Ranieri, Jr., mother, Kathleen Ranieri, brother, Angelo Ranieri, III all preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army 1st Armored Division and was a retired Captain with Spalding Sheriff’s Department.

Survivors include his loving wife, Emily Ranieri; children, Anthony “TJ” Ranieri of Knoxville, Georgia, Daniel Ranieri of Griffin, Georgia, Karen Griffin (Will) of Phenix City, Alabama, Jason Forrest of Griffin, Georgia, Katelyn Forrest; four grandchildren, Mackenzie “Abbie” Humphreys, Mackenzie “Kenzie” Griffin, Mason Griffin, Emma Bermel; sisters, Joanne Ranieri-Reynolds of Tennessee and Donna Ranieri of Virginia; step mother, Carol Ranieri of Columbus, Georgia and a large extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be in the Family Center at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 2pm.
