Socorro L. Aguilar, 74, of Florence, AZ passed away peacefully in Gilbert, AZ on May 17, 2022. Socorro was born in Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico on November 21, 1947. Her family moved from Magdalena to Arizona in 1964. She is survived by her three children, Ernesto, Elena, and Rogelio, and seven grandchildren who were her entire world, Daniel, Dolores, Justo, Belem, Joaquin, Ernesto, and Araceli. She is survived by her seven siblings, Luis Felipe, Ana Alicia, Francisco, Elsa, Rogelio, Martha, and Juan. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Rogelio and Guadalupe Aguilar. A funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Jorge Saucedo on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at 9:00 AM at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Florence, AZ. Interment will follow at Florence Cemetery. Heritage Coolidge Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
