Thomas J. Paul

Thomas J. Paul, 52, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, after a brief illness. Born in Cranston and raised in Warwick, Tom was the son of Brenda (Verino) Paul and the late Eugene Paul. He was the beloved husband of Corey for 21 years; loving father of Jacob, Alison, and Amelia; brother of Laura Reilly (William) of Wakefield, and Lisa Shalvey of Warwick; and dedicated friend of Allen White of Warwick. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends. A lifelong resident of Warwick, Tom was a graduate of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School (’87). He was a member of IBEW Local 99, where he worked as a journeyman electrician for many different contractors for 26 years. Tom was an avid sports fan, and he enjoyed playing softball and golf. He was the former president of Warwick American Little League, where he coached his son’s baseball teams for eight years. Tom was also a dedicated dance dad, where he worked backstage and volunteered where needed. Tom was always the life of the party. He loved having cookouts and firepit parties in the yard, helping with Halloween festivities, and lighting fireworks whenever he could. He was a loyal, generous friend, and he touched the lives of many people. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 10 am in St. Rose and Clement Church, 111 Long St, Warwick. Following the Mass, the burial will be private.
