Curtis LaRoss Brady

In the early morning hours of Tuesday May 18, 2022, Curtis LaRoss Brady passed away in his sleep at the age of 66 in Portland, Oregon. <br><br>Curtis graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1973. He then served a Spanish-speaking, two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mexico and Texas. Upon his return, he began a career in the field of electronics, working as a contract Field Service Engineer for several companies including Fujitsu, Hitachi, and Intel. He also held a high-security position with the NSA at Fort Mead in Maryland. Curtis worked diligently in his chosen field for over 40 years.<br><br>Curtis enjoyed hiking and exploring the natural beauty surrounding Portland. He also enjoyed spending time tending to his garden. He liked to play tennis and to play games with family. He enjoyed music of all kinds, his favorite being hard rock. He had a gentle, playful sense of humor he kept until the very end. <br><br>He is survived by his sons, Eric, Jason and Matthew Brady, his father LaRoss Brady, sisters Christine Frazier and Sharron Taylor, and brothers Joel and David Brady, and 12 grandchildren. Curtis was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnne Brady. <br><br>A graveside service will be held at noon on Thursday, May 26th at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver, Washington
