Shockey, 70, of Springfield, IL passed away at his home on Thursday May 19, 2022.</p> <p>Jerrold was born in Springfield on June 4, 1951 and was the son of Rudolph and Alice (Osborne) Shockey. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Jan Shirley.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Ames) Shockey; 3 daughters; 1 son; 2 stepsons, Mike Higgerson (wife, Julie) and Larry Carter (wife, Kelley); 11 grandchildren; 4 nephews; 1 sister, Sue Fierce (husband, Mori); and 1 brother, Rodney Shockey.</p> <p>Cremation services are being accorded and no services are being planned at this time.</p>
