Rebecca Martinez Fisher our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 18, 2022, at the age of 69. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Carolina and Jose Martinez on February 26, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Jessenia’s father, Jesse G. Quiroz.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Martin Lee Fisher, her two children: son Justin Martinez and his wife Melissa, daughter Jessenia Rae Del Rio and her husband Rudy, three grandchildren Hunter Martinez, Lina Grace Del Rio, and Julian Phoenix Del Rio.  Her brothers: Joe L. Martinez, Abraham L. Martinez and wife Linda, and sisters Cynthia Martinez, and Carol Martinez. Niece Carrie, nephews Abe, Kris, Randon, and Aaron. And Cousin Letty Esteves.

Rebecca was a very loving, caring, thoughtful person who loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends. On numerous occasions and holidays Becky would open up her home, always with a warm welcome and become the gracious host she naturally was. She had such a genuine smile and beautiful soul. She loved spending time with her family and especially all her grandchildren. They would all bring a smile upon her face that made her light up.  Some of her hobbies were reading books, writing, and listening to music. She absolutely loved driving her Volkswagen Beetles all around town and owned many of them throughout her life.

She will be dearly loved and forever missed.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
