Katherine “Kitty” Bloom

Katherine “Kitty” Bloom, 99, of Robbinsville, New Jersey, passed peacefully on May 11, 2022. Born in Mamaroneck, New York, she was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School in 1941 with honors as well as Washington School for Secretaries in New York City. She served in the O.S.S., predecessor to the C.I.A. in New York City during WWII. After 16 years, Kitty retired as an executive secretary for the IBM Corporation of Westchester, New York. Kitty was adored by family, friends, and acquaintances. Known by all for her sense of style, warm demeanor, and unwavering optimism. She was a loving and devoted wife of 61 years to the late, Joseph Bloom; daughter to the late, Bernardo Fraioli and Angelina Evangelista; mother of the late, Robert and Ronald Bloom; and sister of the late, Mary Waful; she is survived by her youngest brother, Bernard Fraioli and also leaves behind a granddaughter, Jaclyn Zefutie and her husband, Michael, along with grandson, James Pompi and his wife, Aimee. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, including Adriana and Christian Zefutie, and Sara and James Pompi, Jr. Furthermore, she is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton, NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
