Sharon Lee Boswell, 71, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 1:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Terrace Care Center, La Porte. She was born on May 8, 1951 in Elkhart, Indiana to Herbert Boswell and Emma (Stalion) Fuller. In 2015 she retired from Aero Metals. Sharon enjoyed going fishing with her husband. She loved to cook and collected cookbooks. Sharon had an amazing sense of humor and made everyone laugh where ever she went. She was a loving grandma who loved her grandchildren. On September 29, 2006 in La Porte, Indiana, she married Steve M. Milan, who survives. Also surviving are her two children, Angela (Mark) Schoof of La Porte and Brad (Kimberly) Jonas of La Porte; two step-children, Marlana Milan-Evans of La Porte, and Jake Milan of New Buffalo, MI; three brothers, Dwight (Diane) Boswell of La Porte, Robert Boswell of Michigan City, and Edie (Lonny) Foresman of North Liberty; one step-sister, Pam (Ed) Baker of Minetone; ten grandchildren, Alyssa Schoof, Sarah Schoof, Nathanial Jonas, Cayden Jonas, Caleb Jonas, Brady Jonas, Alexis Jonas, Parker Jonas, Alexus Higley and Andrew Hartke; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Lisa A. Fuller; step-sister, Debbie Weekly and Peggy Ronco. Cremation will take place. A private memorial gathering will take place.
