Alton Craven Snooky Grady, 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his home. Snooky was born in Wayne County on September 20, 1940 to the late Ludy Grady and Lina Mae Lee Wellons. He had recently retired from Wrights Building Specialties in Garner. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 1:00 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Princeton Cemetery. The family will also greet friends Saturday following the graveside service at his home. Snooky is survived by his wife, Joyce Pearce Grady; children, Debra Joyce Fox, Donald Craven Fox, Jeanette Darlene Chanin, Tonya Bullock, and April Grady; step-son, Gerald James Fox; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Wanda Jo Daniels of Goldsboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Dana Faye Fox.
