James Douglas Boyer

James D. Boyer age 58, of Fort Lauderdale, Fl passed away peacefully in his home in the early
hours of May 9, 2022. Jimmy (Bones) Boyer was born June 19, 1963 in Kankakee, IL. He is the
son of William Lee Boyer and Patricia Phillips Boyer.

He is survived by two sisters: Penny (Tom) Wilson and, Sherrill Dunahee; two brothers Jody
(Jolene) Boyer, and William (Sherry) Boyer. Also, two sisters in-law: Gloria Umstattd and
Rhonda Umstattd, and several nieces and nephews. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents
and two brothers Stephen Umstattd and Gene Umstattd Jr.

Jimmy lived life to its fullest. He showed no Fear and lived everyday as if it were his Last. He
loved his family and friends with everything he had. He loved to feel the wind in his face while
riding his Harley’s. His dog Pain he shared with Gloria will miss him very much. Jimmy is gone
but not forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor in Fort Lauderdale, Fl on May 21, 2022 at the Rag
Doll Bar and Grill. 31 NE 44 th Street, Oakland Park, Fl 33334.

An additional Celebration of life will also be given in his hometown of Kankakee, IL at a later date.
