<p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Decatur ~ Kathleen Virginia Ashley, 90, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 16, 2022.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">&nbsp;David Lowrie and Gerre Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers include Rueben Tamez III, Rueben Tamez IV, Shawn Belknap, Zachary Belknap, Isaiah Belknap, and Adam Belknap. Honorary pallbearer is Nathaniel Anderson.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:20px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Kathleen was born August 1, 1931 to Earnest and Lois (Salter) Rowland in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage December 12, 1958 to Robert Ashley in Arlington, Texas. Kathleen was a retired typist for General Dynamics for many years, and a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur. Decatur ~ Kathleen Virginia Ashley, 90, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 16, 2022.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
