Thomas George Kiefer
<p>Thomas George Kiefer, age 77 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. Tom was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 22, 1945 to Nick Kiefer and Alma (Schibi) Kiefer. He graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1963 and became a journeyman in carpentry. Tom joined the United States Navy as a Seabee and served two tours in Vietnam. In 1971 he married his wife of 50 years, Kathy Kegley in Richmond, Virginia. Tom was a carpenter for 38 years, and loved woodworking, gardening, driving his tractor, and spending time with his family.<br /> <br /> Tom is survived by his wife, Kathy Kiefer; four sons, Mike (Sarah) Kiefer, Terry (Khara) Kiefer, Jamie (Jenny) Kiefer, and Tim (Cristin) Kiefer; 10 grandchildren, Allie, Maddie, Emily, Phebe, Corey, Natalie, Caroline, Graham, Reid, and Beckett; five brothers, Joe, Mark, Denny, Paul, and Larry Kiefer; and one sister, Anita (Kiefer) Bouck. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.<br /> <br /> Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Wedig officiating. Burial will follow at St Aloysius Cemetery in Shandon. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stephen Siller Foundation; Tunnel to Towers, and the Vietnam Veterans. </p>Obituary
