Mary Frances Retzlaff Crandon, Wisconsin Obituary

Mary Frances Retzlaff

Mary Frances Retzlaff passed away May 15, 2022 while residing at The Bay at Nu-Roc Health and Rehab Center, Blackwell, at the age of 89. Daughter to Edward and Emma Collins. Mary was born January 18, 1933 in the Town of Laona where she was also raised. In 1954 she married the late Roland Retzlaff. Together they raised 8 children and were also parents to 2 other children, Daniel and Lyle, who both passed away as infants. Mary worked many different jobs throughout her life…all of which she did with much pride, but nothing made her more proud, than being a mother to her children. All that she did, was done out of love and wanting to provide for them. Even during her last days with them, she was making sure that they were all feeling ok, not working too hard, all getting enough rest, and making sure that anyone who came to visit her, all made it home safe. Her love for her family was constant…always present…and always felt. She will be greatly missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her, and blessed to be loved by her…none more than the children she leaves behind. Those children are, Rusty (Peggy) Retzlaff & family; Eugene (Brenda) Retzlaff & family; James (Sherri) Retzlaff & family; Ed Retzlaff & family; Doris (Rick) Campbell & family; Darlene (Dave) Calhoun & family; daughter-in-law, Patti (Ronald) Collins. Also, included are her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four children, five brothers and one sister. Visitation will be on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, Laona. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Franz Gerber officiating. Interment will be at the Laona Cemetey. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.weberhillfuneralhome.com

I will miss Mary. She was such a sweet lady and I always loved the way she greeted me whenever I saw her. I felt the love for sure. I will always remember the time I spent cleaning for her and we would visit while I cleaned and we always had to sit and have some coffee t... Continue Reading
