Helen Buchla
<p>Helen Buchla, 89, of Stratford and formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late Thomas Buchla, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022. Born on August 21, 1932 in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late Francis and Sophia (Jackowski) Tomaszewski. </p> <p>Helen is survived by her children, Joyce Buchla and Janice (Rick) Huston; her grandchildren, Julie (Brandon Bogan) Huston, and Richard “Ricky” Huston III; and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her brother, Edward, and sister, Evelyn.</p> <p>Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish) 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT. Interment will follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford, CT.
