Roland L. Powers

Roland L. Powers, 83, of Moscow, OH, passed away on May 15, 2022. Roland was born August 7, 1938, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Clarence and Lilly Powers. Roland was the loving husband of Jean Powers (nee Darnell), married January 18, 1958. Beloved father of Jimmy “Dale” Powers (Trish), Patricia Bowling, Delores Swart, and Debbie Bowling (Kevin). Grandfather of Shannon, James, Tasha, Ashley, Chris, Phillip, Mike, Adam, Amber, Timmy, Courtney, Nick, and Gina. Great-grandfather of Kaleb, Breeana, Mason, Emery, Aubrey, Adelynne, Andrew, Nathan, Jacob, Emma, Hailey, Randy, Parker, Leland, Uriah, Sierra, Sophie, Wyatt, and Chloe. Great-great-grandfather of Nicole. Brother of Opal, Ruth, Maxine, Hazel, Cindy, Rob, Ronnie, Larry, and Tommy. Roland was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. Preceded in death by his son; Ronald L. Powers, grandchild; Chrissy Powers Franklin, siblings; Carl, Bonnie, Luella, Marcey, and Sterling. A public visitation will take place at Friday, May 20, 2022, from 11:30 AM until time of funeral service at 1:30 PM. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery.
