Mrs. Rhonda Carruth Payne, age 71, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Rhonda was born on December 25, 1950 in Cartersville, Georgia to Mr. Shirley Hugh Carruth and Mrs. Barbara Ann Tibbitts. She was married to Mr. William Winlow Payne for 36 years. She worked as a LPN at Wellstar Paulding Hospital for many years. Rhonda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Hugh (Barbara Ann) Carruth. Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, William Bill Payne; children, Tammy (Rosco) Geyer, Trever (Cathy) Wills, Tara (Sam) Ruff; grandchildren, Josh (Jennifer) Story, Tyler (Rachel) Story, Alyssa (Jordan) DeJesus, Cody Wills (Sydney Corley), Adrianna Ruff, Abbey Ruff, Adam (Kolbi) Ruff, and Alaina Ruff; great granchildren, Hunter Story, River Story, Hadley Story, Oakley Story, Everlee Story, Grady DeJesus, Baylor DeJesus, and Emersyn Ruff; sister, Renee (Ricky) Morris; nephews, Jeremy(Samantha) Morris, Jonah (Olivia) Morris; greatnephews, Isaac Morris and Jameson Morris. Funeral Services for Mrs. Rhonda Carruth Payne will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Tibbitts and Rev. Todd Tibbitts officiating. Internment will follow at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Herschel Tibbitts officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home and Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
