<p>Elizabeth &ldquo;Beth&rdquo; Elaine Housen was born on May 4, 1967, in Alexandria, MN to Thomas and Shirley (Herrick) Housen.&nbsp; She graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria, MN.&nbsp; She went to work in the kitchen at the Holiday Inn and later at Bonanza Restaurant where she was the manager.&nbsp; She later worked at Arrowwood Resort as the manager in the waterpark.&nbsp; Beth loved animals, especially her cats and dogs.</p> <p>Elizabeth died on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at her home in Alexandria at the age of 55. &nbsp;She is survived by her mother, Shirley Dunn of Alexandria; aunt, Patti (Bill) Murphy of Goodyear, AZ; uncle, Clifford (Kay) Herrick of Jamestown, ND; cousins, Kim, Jeff, and David Herrick.&nbsp; Beth is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Housen; step-dad, Mike Dunn; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Elna Herrick; paternal grandparents, Ted and Winne Housen; and cousins, Steven and Curtis Herrick.</p> <p>A committal service will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Lakeside Cemetery in Osakis, MN.</p>

Shirley so sad to hear about Beth. We loved her very much. She was a joy to have as a friend of Tamiss. I wIll miss her. She was so sweet ️ Shes in Gods arms now!!!
