Stephen B. Bray, Jr., 89, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022. He was the husband of the late Jean M. Bray (Bouvier) and former husband of the late Elaine A. (White) Bray. Born in Rockland, ME, he was the son of the late Stephen B. Bray, Sr. and Anne (Rooney) Bray. Mr. Bray was a graduate of Umass Amherst and an electrical engineer for over 30 years for the Raytheon Corp. before retiring in 1998. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He lived in Worcester for 28 years before moving to Greenville, RI, in 2018. He loved sailing and anything to do with the ocean, hiking, skiing and swimming. Stephen was an avid New England Sports fan. He was the loving father of Cathy A. (Richard) Costabile of Coventry, RI and Karen L. Bray (late Kenneth Plante) of Chepachet, RI. He was the grandfather of Jeffrey Costabile. Stephen is also survived by his step-children Donna Ferro and her wife Deborah Glancy, Robert Ferro, Jr., and step-granddaughter Kori, Patty Murphy and her husband Arthur, and step-grandson, Sean. He was predeceased by his sister Rita (Bray) Lattimer. Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 from 4-6pm with a Catholic Prayer Service at 6pm, in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI.
