Edna G. Pietrzyk Troy, Michigan Obituary

Edna G. Pietrzyk

Edna G. Pietrzyk (nee Kennedy) went on to her next adventure on May 16, 2022 at the age of 91. Edna was born January 25, 1931 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Oscar and Annie Kennedy (nee Elmore). Edna was the true rock and matriarch of the family. She had a fantastic sense of humor and retained her sharp wit her whole life. Edna was a devoted Catholic and would always answer the call to help. She was the “go-to” person for many, and was more than willing to share her wisdom and offer advice. Edna was personable and approachable. She was an engaging conversationalist and an amazing listener. She made the absolute best fried chicken and banana pudding, which was her signature dessert. Beloved wife of the late Henry for 55 years. Loving mother of Cynthia (Thomas), Michael (Pamela), David (Cheryl), Therese, Martin (Hope), Mary (Robert), Paul (Karen), Christopher, Grace (Bruce), Loretta (James), Joseph, and Carrie. Also survived my many dear grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
