Danielle Marie McCallum of Cuba, MO was born on Friday, August 3, 1984 in Granite City, IL to David Lee McCallum and Rebecca Jo Householder.  She passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the age of 37 years, 9 months and 12 days. 

Danielle attended Cuba High School.  She married Jeremiah Daniel Dodson, to this union five daughters were born and together they raised six children.  Although she had a few jobs she especially loved staying home taking care of her family.  She enjoyed taking pictures with her family and friends.  She loved swimming, barbequing, fishing and collecting rocks.  Danielle also enjoyed taking car rides with her dad, siblings and children.  Danielle loved the songs “It’s Your Love” by Tim McGraw and “Call Me” by Shinedown.  Most of all, she loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jimmie Eugene McCallum and Hattie “Joyce” McCallum; grandmother Lucy Hoffman; uncles Kenneth McCallum and Johnnie McCallum; aunts Vickie Allen and Patricia Hall; cousins Brandon McCallum and Brent McCallum.

Danielle is survived by her father, David Lee McCallum, I. (Jennifer Blanton) of Steelville, MO; mother Rebecca Jo (Jay) Endicott of Centralia, IL; grandfather, Robert Hoffman of Granite City, IL; ex-husband Jeremiah Dodson of Steelville, MO; mother-in-law Tina Blanton of Steelville, MO; children Brent Ward (fiancée Sandra), Autumn Dodson, Summer Dodson, Laila Dodson, Mia Dodson, and Samantha Dodson all of Steelville, MO; siblings David McCallum, II. (fiancée Alicia Turnbough) of Cherryville, MO, Patricia  Endicott (fiance Dusty) of IL, Mackenzie McCallum and Tiffany Stevens both of Steelville, MO; step siblings Cody Sprock of Steelville, MO and Taylor Stevens of House Springs, MO; uncle Jim (Barb) McCallum of Cuba, MO; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family chose cremation as her final disposition. The family held a memorial service at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Steelville Duck Park.  Memorials were suggested to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
