Esther Lene "Bea" Monson Cox, affectionately known as "Bea" was born October 2, 1942, to Roosevelt Franklin and Texana Monson Isom in Lyons, Texas. She attended Emmit J. Scott in Somerville, Texas. She resided in Temple, Texas, before moving to Copperas Cove, Texas. She married Joseph Frank Cox on October 31, 2003. She was a member of W.S. Young Church of Christ in Killeen, Texas, where she served as a Greeter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Albert “Sap” Isom, and one sister, Susie Townsend.
Survivors are her husband, Joseph Frank Cox of Copperas Cove; one son, Donald Murray Marshall of Temple, daughter, Laura Rene’ Armstrong of Round Rock, Texas; one brother, Donald Isom of Somerville; sisters, Clara Lister Austin and Barbara Wilson of Bryan; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
