Edward L. Mann, Sr., age 83, of Toledo, OH passed peacefully at home with family by his side on Saturday, May 14th. He was born in Lester, WV in 1938 to Harry and Rachel (Birchfield) Mann and moved to Toledo, OH with his family in 1952. He had a very successful career working in the water treatment industry for many years, but he always said his greatest accomplishment were his five children. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Edgel, and Marcia Mann. He is survived by his children, Janie (Ted) Miller, Carol Brighton, Brenda (George) Benson, Eddie (Julie) Mann, and Tonya (Gil) Guzman; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Shirley Mowery and Phyllis Cady, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Hampton Manor in Lambertville, MI and Promedica Monroe Hospice for their compassion and care.
