Elizabeth "Beth" Amy Williams
<p>After a courageous battle with cancer, Elizabeth Amy “Beth” Williams (nee Hill) of Ethelbert, MB, passed away with family by her side on Wednesday May 12, 2022 at Dauphin Regional Health Centre at the age of 80 years.</p> <p>Beth leaves to mourn her sons Blair & Greg Lalonde, grandson Colin Higgins (Kendyl), great grandson Asher; granddaughter Serena, step granddaughter Jolene, stepchildren April (Tom) Fleischmann and Ron (Shiho) Williams; sisters Roseanne (Jack) Pearson, Gwen (John) Sutton, Allison (Arvid) Dalzell as well as extended family; nieces & nephews Todd, Brent, Vanda, Harley (Coreena), Timothy (Joanne), Pamela (Brayden), Cindy (Warren), Corey (Tina), Colleen (Fernando) as well as extended relatives.</p> <p>She was predeceased by her husband Barry Williams, previous husband Harry Lalonde and by her parents Ernie & Phyllis Hill.</p> <p>Beth was active in early years in 4-H, figure skating and enjoyed horseback riding with friends. She worked at the Wawanesa Mutual, Carnation Potato Plant in Carberry, MB, and managed several hotels over the years with her husband in Southern Manitoba. Beth also enjoyed gardening, knitting, bingo, trips to casino’s & her fur babies.</p> <p>A Graveside Service will be held on Friday May 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Glenboro Cemetery with Sharon Hamilton officiating. Friends that so wish can make memorial donations in Beth’s memory to Funds for Furry Friends, 740 Rosser Ave., Suite 208, Brandon, MB, R7A 0K9 or to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th ST.
