<p>Connie Lenore Blackburn, 67, of Chatham, IL passed away on&nbsp;Friday, May 13, 2022, at&nbsp;8:00 p.m., at&nbsp;Sunrise Skilled Nursing &amp; Rehab Center in Virden, IL.&nbsp; A graveside funeral services will be held on&nbsp;Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Shiloh Cemetery in Coffeen, IL.&nbsp; Family and friends may meet at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, IL, at 9:30 a.m., to proceed to the cemetery. James Anderson will officiate.&nbsp; Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.</p> <p>Mrs. Blackburn was born on&nbsp;June 15, 1954, in Litchfield, IL, to the late&nbsp;James and Joyce (Boedecker) McBride.&nbsp; She was a&nbsp;1972 Graduate of Litchfield High School in Litchfield, IL and was retired&nbsp;from the State of Illinois Department of Revenue.&nbsp; She married&nbsp;Thomas Blackburn on May 18, 1974, in Litchfield, IL and he survives in Chatham, IL.&nbsp; Mrs. Blackburn&nbsp;loved watching soap operas, going to her boy&rsquo;s baseball and football games, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Illini basketball and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.&nbsp; She had lived in&nbsp;Litchfield, IL; Springfield, IL and then Chatham, IL for the past 46 years.</p> <p>Mrs. Blackburn is survived by her husband, Thomas Blackburn of Chatham, IL; two sons,&nbsp;Chad M. Blackburn of Chatham, IL and Jordan T. (wife, Michaela) Blackburn of Springfield, IL; three grandchildren,&nbsp;McKinzy M. Blackburn, Bennett W. Blackburn and Sutton D. Blackburn and three siblings,&nbsp;Crystie Matthews, Jamie Bergmann &amp; Russell DeWitt.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her parents,&nbsp;James and Joyce (Boedecker) McBride and one brother, Rick A. McBride.</p> <p>Memorials are suggested to St. Jude or Autism Foundation.</p>
