Joseph D. Williams “AKA” JD or Jay, 56, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2022. Jay attended Nottingham High School and was a lifelong Hamilton Township resident. He was a dedicated hard-working employee of Tri-County Lawn Care and Landscaping for over 22 years. Jay’s greatest passions were watching the Washington Redskins, listening to Classic Rock and hanging out with his friends and family. He was a lover of animals and had many cats throughout his life. His love for fishing started at a very young age when his father would take him fishing on his boat at Barnegat every weekend. JD loved the outdoors and being in nature, he rode his bike everywhere. Son of the late Albert E. Williams and Katherene I. Williams of Hamilton, NJ; he is survived by and will be sadly missed by his sisters, Stacey Cook, Robin Heller and Sharon Williams; his nephews, Matthew Williams and Kenny Heller; his niece, Autumn Ferrara, her husband, Dan, and their son, Harrison; his aunt, Charlotte Wolverton; his many cousins; his great friend and boss, Bob Fuller; and his extended family at the First & Ten. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 p.m., with Words of Remembrance beginning at 6:00 p.m., at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
