Obituary

It is with broken hearts the family of Margaret Rose Thibodeau announce her passing which occurred at the Loch Lomond Village on May 13, 2022, with her family by her side. Margaret grew up in a large family, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Victoria Magee and survived by her sisters Dorothy, Lillian, Barbara, Lorna, Mary, Martha, Bessie, Patricia, and brother Eddie.

Margaret was well known for her love of Bingo, cooking, baking, crafts, puzzles, bargain shopping, yard-sales, and people. Margaret’s gift from God was Mothering, she was a fantastic mother to her two children Tracy and John, her 4 grandchildren Dakota, Hannah, Alysha, Bradly, and her great grandson Anderson. She also become a mother to just about everyone she met who needed a warm hug and kind words, or just a piece of candy that she would have stashed in her purse.

She moved into the Loch Lomond Villa to take care of her husband whose health was failing and became a friend and mother to so many while she was there … she was known as the Mother Hen for the other residents, the nurses and all the family members that came to visit their loved ones. She took them all under her wing.

She had many friends, a few that she held close to her heart were Jackie, Norma, Joan, her first husband Ed, her sisters and friends Barb and Patsy. The love she shared with her husband David shined bright to everyone, they shared Pure Love and Devotion for each other. They cared and loved each other in every way. They were a perfect pair in life and have been reunited to continue their love story.

Margaret will always be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Donations towards the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
