<p>Harold G. Sietsma, Jr, 84, a longtime resident of Midland Park, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Harold was born in 1937 in Hackensack, New Jersey to Harold George and Margaret Evelyn Sietsma.</p> <p>Harold is survived by his children Brian A. Sietsma and his wife Nan of Ridgewood, New Jersey; Harold G. Sietsma, III (&ldquo;Butch&rdquo;) and his wife Sharon of York, Pennsylvania; Charles W. Sietsma and his wife Lisa of Lake City, Florida; and Marianne McCune and her husband Robert of Allendale, New Jersey.&nbsp; He has 11&nbsp;grandchildren and 22&nbsp;great-grandchildren. Harold was predeceased by his wife Janet who passed away in May 2003.</p> <p>Harold was an accomplished mason and worked in masonry all his life. He was a source of light, comfort, and love to all his family. Harold was a patient and caring listener to anyone who had something to tell. He loved birds and had many different types of bird feeders over the years. He was content to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy the birds and blue sky. Harold always had a smile on his face. He had a fine collection of clocks which he enjoyed maintaining and loved listening to.</p> <p>Harold was a warm and kind-hearted man who will forever be in our hearts.&nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations in Harold&rsquo;s name can be made to Valley Hospital Foundation, Valley Hospice, 223 North Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Harold G. Sietsma, Jr, 84, a longtime resident of Midland Park, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Harold was born in 1937 in Hackensack, New Jersey to Harold George and Margaret Evelyn Sietsma.

Harold is survived by his children Brian A. Sietsma and his wife Nan of Ridgewood, New Jersey; Harold G. Sietsma, III (“Butch”) and his wife Sharon of York, Pennsylvania; Charles W. Sietsma and his wife Lisa of Lake City, Florida; and Marianne McCune and her husband Robert of Allendale, New Jersey.  He has 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Harold was predeceased by his wife Janet who passed away in May 2003.
