Anne L. Wilk

Anne L. Wilk (Chojnacka), January 15, 1920 – May 2, 2022, recently of Medford, NJ, passed away at the age 102, with caring thoughts continually of “Tell all the family, I love them”. Born in Cumbola, PA, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Praznowska) Chojnacki. Anne is survived by daughters, Virginia Campbell (Duncan) and Lin Williams (Rob); Grandchildren, Jennifer Huntley McCarthy (Jack), Rob Huntley (Marijke), Alexa Hibbert Edelman (Paul), Delia Williams Lehmann (Chris) and Jessica Williams; Great-Grandchildren, John McCarthy (Hunter), Hunt McCarthy, Virginia McCarthy, Jerry Huntley, Anna Hibbert, Brett, Brielle and Brooke Lehmann, Mila and Philip Pias.<br><br>Anne was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Wilk in 2013, her parents and her siblings, Adele, Adolph, Edward, Florence, Francis (Fritz), Helen, John, and Mae. Anne lived most of her life in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia where she experienced the sadness of the Great Depression and WWII. Married at St. Adalbert’s Church, she and Joe had a joyful marriage of almost 75 years. Family trips to Miami Beach brought them to Hollywood, FL at retirement. Eventually they moved back north to enjoy life on the Atlantic City boardwalk and to be near their growing family. After Joe’s passing, Anne moved to Medford.<br> <br>An avid Phillies fan, Anne also enjoyed reading, sewing crafts and making a beautiful home for her family. She had a lovely singing voice and learned to play piano by ear. For a few years, Anne worked as a Dutch Maid representative early on and later, as a Customer Service Representative for AAA Auto Club.<br><br>Visitation will be 10:30 am and Funeral 11:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 1989 RT 70 E, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.<br> www.StBarts-CherryHill.org.
