Joshua C. Hammill

<p>KINGSTON&hellip;.. Joshua C. D. Hammill, 36, of Hurley Ave., beloved son of Lisa Schilling Hammill Downey and Andrew Hammill, Sr. passed away suddenly &nbsp;Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his residence.&nbsp;&nbsp; A graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 2005, &nbsp;Joshua will be remembered as a gentle soul and a gifted musician with a quick wit.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was a genuinely kind person who&rsquo;s empathy shown through in his words and actions.&nbsp; &nbsp;He was employed for many years at the Orpheum Theatre in many capacities and more recently in sales and repair at Aqua Jet in Kingston.</p> <p>Survivors include his Mom of Saugerties and Dad of Texas, a sister, Jasmine Hammill Scicutella of Texas,&nbsp; step father, George Downey.&nbsp; His aunts, Jeanie Wallick of Fla., Deborah Zetterlund of Fla., Colleen Kollar of Fla., and Nancy Longthon of Saugerties.&nbsp; Several cousins also survive.</p> <p>A Service of Remembrance will be held 8:30 PM&nbsp;May 18th&nbsp;&nbsp; at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John &amp; Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.&nbsp;&nbsp; Friends will be received 7:00 PM &ndash; 8:30 PM.&nbsp; Family suggests donations in his memory be made to&nbsp;Saugerties Animal Shelter. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Josh&rsquo;s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com</p>
