KINGSTON….. Joshua C. D. Hammill, 36, of Hurley Ave., beloved son of Lisa Schilling Hammill Downey and Andrew Hammill, Sr. passed away suddenly  Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his residence.   A graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 2005,  Joshua will be remembered as a gentle soul and a gifted musician with a quick wit.   He was a genuinely kind person who’s empathy shown through in his words and actions.   He was employed for many years at the Orpheum Theatre in many capacities and more recently in sales and repair at Aqua Jet in Kingston.

Survivors include his Mom of Saugerties and Dad of Texas, a sister, Jasmine Hammill Scicutella of Texas,  step father, George Downey.  His aunts, Jeanie Wallick of Fla., Deborah Zetterlund of Fla., Colleen Kollar of Fla., and Nancy Longthon of Saugerties.  Several cousins also survive.

A Service of Remembrance will be held 8:30 PM May 18th   at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.   Friends will be received 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM.  Family suggests donations in his memory be made to Saugerties Animal Shelter.
