Susan Geraldine Fields

Susan Geraldine Fields 78, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born in Detroit, January 14, 1944, the daughter of the late Henry and Geraldine (Klann) Angliss. Her marriage to Michael Joseph Fields was September 17, 1966, in Detroit. Michael passed away July 31, 2019. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Cindy Fields of Grass Lake and a grand-dog, Axel; life long friend of 60 years to Joyce and Warren, as well as many others. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Joseph Fields Jr. and Scott Alan Fields; and two sisters, Deanna Towe and Louise Hein. Susan attended and was involved with Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond. She enjoyed her time singing with the Richmond Choir and was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary at the James Coleman VFW Post 6802. Susan liked bowling and had been a part of the Tuesday morning leagues at Strikers in Richmond. She especially loved shopping on QVC earning her nickname, “QVC Queen”. She enjoyed camping with family and friends. Susan loved life and had been blessed with many, many friends. The family honors the memory of Susan and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Lay Minister Christine Ritter, visiting minister of Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond. will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery, Richmond.
