Christopher Dale Cross

Graveside service for Mr. Christopher Dale Cross, age 44, of Ashville, AL, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, at New Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Gooch officiating the service. Mr. Cross entered his Heavenly home on Thursday, May 12, 2022. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Hazel Warren and Eugene and Leona Cross. Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Cross are his wife of 20 years, Amanda Cross, of Ashville, AL, his sons; Skyler Cross, Parker Cross, mother, Dianne Cross, father, Eugene Cross Jr, sisters; Kelly Walker (Toby), April Dasher, special uncle, Tony Warren, brother-in-law, Wes Mayhall (Jennifer), sister-in-law, Angie Pierce (Gary), father and mother-in-law, Scott and Donna Mayhall, nieces and nephews; Courtney Gregory, Bella Pierce, Brody Walker (Sydney), Logan Walker (Madison), Harmony Dasher, Raven Dasher, Hannah Mayhall, Cash Mayhall, great nieces and great nephews; Jax Gregory, Finnley Walker, Tavy Walker and Raelyn Walker. Pallbearers will be Wesley Mayhall, Justin Chandler, Dantley Thompson, Chris Thompson, Lauill Thompson, Robert Roebuck, Tony Warren and Scott Mayhall. Mr. Cross was a law enforcement officer for over 20 years in Ashville, Guntersville, and St. Clair County, 15 of which he served as a Game Warden. He was a big deer hunter and loved the outdoors. Mr. Cross loved kids and enjoyed coaching youth sports. To know Mr. Cross was to love him and he will be greatly missed.
