Thaddeus “Ted” Otto Peterson Obituary

Thaddeus “Ted” Otto Peterson, 68, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. He was suddenly taken from his family by a fatal car crash while he was bicycling. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Trenton High School. He was a US Marine Veteran. He enjoyed painting and watching and critiquing episodes of Perry Mason. Pizza and soda were a favorite combination for him; he was always making pizzas and giving them away. He enjoyed going to the local diners. The local cats were always fed when he was around. He would give someone in need his last dollar. Thaddeus “Ted” had a kind heart and gentle soul and always thought of others. He loved his family and always tried to keep in touch with his brothers and sisters to reminisce. He was a friend of Bill W. Predeceased by his parents, Orvia K. and Margaret Riley Peterson; he is survived by his sisters, Faith Peterson, Margaret Whitehouse and her husband, Ernest, Mary DiMattia, and Anne Immordino and her husband, John; his brothers, Andrew Peterson and his wife, Susan, Thomas Peterson, and Martin Peterson and his wife, Maggie; and his many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
