Tim Van Ness

Timothy Allen Van Ness, 51, of Ottumwa, died at 11:50 a.m. May 11, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 9, 1970 in Ottumwa to Charles and Zetta Griner Van Ness. A resident of Ottumwa all of his life, he was a 1990 graduate of Ottumwa High School. Tim enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, watching various sports and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Surviving is his mother, Zetta Van Ness; brother, Jerry (Karla) Van Ness; sister, Donna Smith; and companion, Janet Yeoman, all of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles and a brother, Dwayne Van Ness. His body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
