Joshua Alan Lofthus, 41 of Mediapolis, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Born October 31, 1980 in Iowa City, IA, he was the son of Craig Alan Lofthus and Tina Turner. He was of the Lutheran Faith. On August 18, 2012 Joshua married Edna Julieta Gonzalez in Burlington. Joshua was a commercial truck driver for many years. Joshua loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed, , wood working, shooting guns, working on cars and 4 wheelers, boating, playing paintball, riding motorcycles and raising hell! Survivors include his wife, Edna; sons Austin Lofthus of Burlington, Christian and Craig Lofthus of Mediapolis; mother Tina Turner of Florida; sister Amanda Lofthus of Maine; brothers Jacob Lofthus of St Louis; Cal Chandler of Ft. Madison; paternal grandparents Arlin and Beverly Lofthus of Burlington; maternal grandparents Richard and Eunice Turner of West Burlington. He was preceded in death by his father, Craig Lofthus. The visitation for Joshua will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Lunning Chapel from 10:00 am until noon. A memorial has been established for the education of Christian and Craig.
