Helen "Jean" Redmond
<p>Helen “Jean” Redmond, 91 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully, Tuesday May 10, 2022. </p> <p>She was the wife of the late Thomas James Redmond Jr. </p> <p>Born October 30, 1930 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Newman Wise and the late Helen Benner Wise. </p> <p>Jean grew up in West Chester and graduated from The West Chester Nursing School in 1950. She was a nurse at Chester County Hospital in the nursery for most of her career. </p> <p>Jean’s number one priority in life was her family. They were her pride and joy. Nurturing was a gift Jean gave to everyone that knew her. She had a wonderful group of lifelong friends who laughed and danced, played golf and cards. She loved the beach, her roses, and her dogs that showed up every morning at her back door for their daily treats. Her smile and laugh will be missed. </p> <p>Jean is survived by her three children Donna (Drew), Rick (Kathie) and Randy, her eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her brother Jack, sister in law Peggy and many nieces and nephews. </p> <p>Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380 followed by her Graveside Service at 11:30 am St. Agnes Cemetery 1050 Pottstown Pike West Chester PA 19380. </p> <p>In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Brandywine Valley SPCA 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester PA 19380</p>Obituary
