Makena Angelle Miller, 18, died Friday, May 6, 2022 at 9:53 PM. Born August 08, 2003, she was a native of Lafayette and resident of Thibodaux.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 2:00 PM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
She is survived by her mother, Casha Miller Guidry and step father, Derek Guidry, father, Leonard Sonnier and step mother, Crystal Sonnier; siblings, Whitney Guidry and Adeline Guidry; grandmothers, Edolia Miller and Theresa Sonnier; step grandparents, Elizabeth and Larry Guidry, Kenneth Strahan and Penny Navarre.
She is preceded in death by grandfathers, Marvin Miller and Harold Sonnier, Sr.
She was a member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians. She was an avid horse and animal lover and enjoyed drawing, art and spending time with family.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
