<p>Vanceboro – Dennis William “Baby Face” Beach, 44, passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2022 at his home in Vanceboro. Dennis was born on July 7, 1977, son of George and Jeanette (Grass) Beach Sr. </p><p><br></p><p>Dennis attended Region 3 in Lincoln where he earned his CDL, and graduated from Lee Academy, Class of 1996. He was a hard worker and started driving dump truck for DiCenzos. He moved on to driving an 18-wheeler for Shay Brothers and LR Hamilton. For the last six years, Dennis called the Topsfield D.O.T. his home. In 2003 he married his high school sweetheart, Renai Hayes. </p><p><br></p><p>Dennis was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, camping and hanging with his crew on the weekends. He was a member of the Vanceboro Vol. Fire Dept. since the age of 16 and fought fires with the Maine Forest Service. Dennis was a member of the Vanceboro Lambert Snowhounds snowmobile club and a lifetime member of North American Hunting Club. Above everything, his greatest pride and joy was his son Austin. He loved the hours spent together riding the back roads, hunting the big one, fishing the streams and cheering for Austin at any of his sporting events. Dennis would do anything to spend as much time with Austin as he could.</p><p><br></p><p>Dennis was predeceased by his father, George Beach; maternal grandfather, Earl Grass; paternal grandparents Donald and Hazel Beach; and a cousin Marie Roderick. Surviving are his wife and soulmate, Renai Beach; the light of his life and his hunting and fishing buddy, his son Austin Beach of Vanceboro; his mother Jeanette Beach of Calais; mother-in-law Pamela Apotheker and husband Allan of Waterville; father-in-law Dana Hersom and wife Loretta of Kingman; maternal grandmother Jessie Grass of Lambert Lake; his sister Pauline Beach and companion Mike Tammaro of Alexander; two brothers, George Beach and wife Nicole of Lambert Lake, and Troy Ward and wife Barbara of Lambert Lake; sister-in-law Clarissa Parker and companion Todd Berry of Alexander; brother-in-law Charles “Bub” Parker and wife Shana of Fort Gratiot, MI; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and coworkers; nephews Dustin Bohanon and wife Maddie, Brandon McMannus, Gavin Berry, Riley Beach, Cameron Ward, Liam Bohanon and Noah Bohanon; nieces Abrielle Beach, Adriene Berry and Mackenzie Ward; and special cousins and friends, Nathan, Nicole, Cheryl, Lyndsay, Sonny and Dwayne.</p><p><br></p><p>Visiting hours will begin 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2022 at George’s house, 1082 Vanceboro Rd., Lambert Lake, until 1 p.m. Tuesday. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Vanceboro Community Center, 101 High St., Vanceboro. Burial will follow in the Lambert Lake Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais &amp; Eastport. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
