R. James McDonough II, 51, of Lake in The Hills passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital, Elgin. He was born June 22, 1970 in Urbana, IL the son Ronald J. and Connie Dowell McDonough. Surviving are his wife, Sharon, 3 children, Danielle McDonough, Rachael McDonough and Grace McDonough, 2 grandchildren, Sylas and Blakley, his father Ronald, sisters, Jane (Doug) Schneider and Susan Behm. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, May 14 at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will follow at River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
