Our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle Rex K. Christensen passed away suddenly May 9, 2022 in West Valley City, Utah. He was born December 29, 1954 to Dell A. and Ella Draper Christensen. He married Daryn Daybell May 13, 1983 in Magna, UT.

Rex grew up in Magna and graduated from Cyprus High School. He worked 13 years for Kennecott Copper and 30 years for Murray City. He enjoyed weightlifting, golfing, and gardening.

Survived by his wife, Daryn; daughter, Courtnee Christensen; brother, Dean (JoAnn) Christensen; sisters-in-law, Sylva Christensen, Nancy (Charles Eddy) Astill; brothers-in-law, Craig (Judy) Daybell, Mark (Toko) Daybell; many nieces and nephews; and his companion, Rocky.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry.

Graveside services will be held 12 noon Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S.
