Carlos Amable Gallardo Machado Sr., 58 years old lost his battle with cancer. Carlos, an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother…all around great man passed away on May 6, 2022 just shy of celebrating his 59th birthday on May 17. Many regarded Carlos as a magnificent baker, if you had the blessing of having a cake made by him, you will attest to his great talent and love of the art of fine sweet desserts; Leaving us all wanting more of the delicacies he crafted with love. Carlos also enjoyed traveling especially when he would return home to visit Ecuador where his father and a few of his siblings reside. He enjoyed soccer, if you close your eyes you can hear him cheering on his favorite team. Carlos loved music, many a night you could hear him sing or watch him dance with his amor Sarita. Carlos married his beloved Sarita in 2013 and built a life together along with son Jacob. Carlos was a fortunate man with additional blessing with children, Kelly, Charlie, Michelle, Carlos Jr. and Roxanne. Along with grandchildren Hennessy, Brianna, Brandy, Aiden, Isaac, William, Malakai, Messiah, and our heavenly angel Bella. Born to parents Olmedo Gallardo (father) and Maria Teresa (mother, deceased), his siblings include Germain, Gladys, Homero, Benjamin, Gina and Elena. Carlos was one of the kindest men you could ever meet, he opened his heart and home to all; he will be greatly missed. He will be celebrated with the viewing on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Queen of Heaven Mortuary (1652 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa) 5pm to 8pm . A Spiritual service will take place on Tuesday, May 17 at Queen of Peace Church (141 N. Macdonald St., Mesa, 85201) at 11:30am and interment to follow at Valley of the Sun cemetery (10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd) Chandler at 1:00pm. Immediately following the interment, a celebration of life / birthday for Carlos will be held at Ginger Monkey Gastropub at 1pm (135 Transistor Ter, Chandler 85248).
