<p>Keith Wendell (Poppy) Coker&nbsp;</p> <p>A mechanic and resident of Shawnee Oklahoma, died unexpectedly on May 10, 2022 at the age of 66.&nbsp; Keith was born in Seminole OK, November 10, 1955 to William and Ellen (nee&rsquo; Jones) Coker.&nbsp; He graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City and shortly after he married Vickie Diane Mercer from Shawnee, OK and went on to have 3 sons:&nbsp; William &ldquo;Bill&rdquo;, Wendell and David.&nbsp; After Vicki passed away in 2002, Keith met Michelle Pfieffer in 2010, and they were married May 18, 2013.&nbsp; He retired from Shawnee AutoMall in 2019 where he worked for over 30 years.&nbsp; He was an avid hunter, a deacon at Achena Presbyterian Church in Maud, OK and was enjoying the retirement life.&nbsp; Keith loved his family and if he was giving you a hard time you knew he liked you.&nbsp; His hobbies included hunting, his love of horseback riding and had become quite proficient in reloading ammunition.&nbsp; He was a huge OSU fan&hellip;GO POKES!!!&nbsp;&nbsp; Despite his sons trying to sway him to become a Sooner (Boomer Sooner).&nbsp;</p> <p>He was predeceased by his parents William and Ellen Coker; wife Vickie Diane Coker,;sister Cathy Tanyan; brothers Buster Coker and Gary Coker.&nbsp; He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Coker of the home; his sons William &ldquo;Bill&rdquo; and wife Karen of Tecumseh; Wendell and wife Danielle of Shawnee; and David and wife Stacie of Oklahoma City.&nbsp; Step-daughters Trista Giggy of California; Shelby Pharris and husband Ken of Oklahoma City; Grandchildren: Hayden and Makayala Coker of Tecumseh; Breanna Coker of Shawnee; the children of David Coker; Lexxie Giggy of California and Carrie, Athena and Landan Pharris of Oklahoma City. Brother Kenneth Coker of Tecumseh; Glen Coker of Mannford; Sisters Mae &ldquo;Red&rdquo; Baugh of Oklahoma City;, Sue Tanyan, of Tulsa and Delores Henson of El Reno.&nbsp; And a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.</p> <p>&nbsp;Keith will be missed by all that love him and we will treasure every memory we have.</p> <p>&nbsp;The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Keith&rsquo;s name, to Achena Presbyterian Church in Maud.&nbsp; P.O. Box 911, Maud OK, 74854.</p> <p>&nbsp;Keith will be available for viewing, Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. &ndash; 6:00 P.M. at Achena Presbyterian Church in Maud.&nbsp; A wake service, will follow, beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the church.</p> <p>&nbsp;Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Achena Presbyterian Church in Maud, with Gene Wilson and Rubynell York officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow at the Achena Cemetery.&nbsp; Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.</p>
