Rosie Pearl Wolfe Obituary

Rosie Pearl Wolfe, 91, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at her residence. Funeral service with Rev. Don Bearden officiating will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10 AM at Bethany Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Breckenridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Rosie Pearl Weatherby was born on August 21, 1925 in Iraan , Texas to Joe David Weatherby and Vivian Gertrude Woods Weatherby. She had been married to Everett B. Stroud and Curtis “Cotton” Wolfe both who preceded her in death. She had worked as a clothing inspector for Davis Manufacturing, and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include, son-in-law, Joe David Holland of Graham, granddaughter, LaRessie Santiago of Breckenridge; granddaughter Mitzi May of Oberlin, KS, great-granddaughter, Felicia Holland of Austin and fiancé, Josh Graves; great-grandson, Ray O’Boyle of Breckenridge; great-granddaughter, Becky Eanes of Graham; great-great-grandson, Elijah Eanes of Graham, Brother Ed Weatherby of Breckenridge; and an uncle Moody Brown of Bedford; step children, Ruth Austin, Joe Ray Wolfe, and Cindy she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Everett Stroud; daughter, Everetta Stroud Holland; second husband, Curtis “Cotton” Wolfe; and brothers, Joe Weatherby, Raymond Weatherby, and Jesse Weatherby.
