Virgil Dale Bush Jr.

Virgil Dale Bush, Jr. age 64 of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, passed away Tuesday evening, May 10, 2022 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Funeral will be held 12 Noon Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Donnell – Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville. Visitation will be held prior to services from 10:00 a.m. until service time at noon. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery. Virgil Dale Bush, Jr. was born January 20, 1958, in Centralia, Illinois. Virgil attended the local schools and graduated from Carlyle High School. He retired after 25 years with Monterey Coal. Virgil worked in Albers, Illinois until they closed and then Carlinville until he retired. Virgil was married to Felicia Sanders. They divorced. He then married Judith Handegan on July 4, 1998, in Carlyle, Illinois. Judy is still surviving and his mother, Rosemary, is also living. Virgil is also survived by his children; Tisha Lister and husband Bob of Trenton, IL, Nathan Bush of Keyesport, IL, Virgil Dale Bush III of Carlyle, IL, step-sons Denny Smith of Coffeen, IL, and Lee Smith of Coffeen, IL., sister Karen Ruesler of Waterloo, IL., brother Richard Bush and wife Jan of Decatur, IL., sister Linda Ferrell of Paola, KS. He was the loving grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 4.
