<p>Virginia L. Doonan, 82, of Keithsburg, passed away Tuesday May 10, 2022 at Wesley Village Health Care, Macomb.</p> <p>Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Reynolds. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Edgington Cemetery. Memorials may be left to ARC of the Quad Cities.</p> <p>Virginia was born on October 30, 1939 in Marston, the daughter of Floyd and Margaret (Timmerman) Johnson. She married Emery “Hoe” Doonan on December 28, 1957 in Trinity Episcopal Church, Rock Island.</p> <p>She had been employed at Delway Ltd as a bookkeeper and had stayed home to raise her children.</p> <p>She was a member of the former St. John’s Episcopal Church, Preemption. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards with her grandchildren and was a tremendous baker.</p> <p>Survivors include her husband, Emery “Hoe”; children, Victor Doonan, Rock Island, Kirk (Annette) Doonan, Viola, Jennifer (Don) Taylor, Kirkwood; grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Taylor, Alex (Kassi) Doonan, David (Ashlee) Doonan, Andrew (Ana) Doonan, Alisa Randolph, Victoria Taylor, Michael Taylor; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Kendall Phelps, Warren Johnson, Mindy Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim, John, Floyd and Robert; sisters, Delores Carraher and Marsha Bolt.</p> <p>Online condolences may be left for the family at wheelanpressly.com</p> <p> </p>Obituary
