Wanda Stock
<p>Wanda Stock, 89, of Morehead City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.</p> <p>Wanda was born August 7, 1932, in Quincy, Illinois. After high school she married and raised 5 children. Later Wanda worked in retail and then at Blessing Hospital until she retired. </p> <p>Wanda enjoyed being outside and observing nature or cuddling up next to one of her animals to watch a soap opera. She was known for her impeccable sense of style and her great sense of humor. Wanda was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered by her bright, infectious smile and uplifting nature. </p> <p>Wanda leaves behind her children, Stan Stock of Apex NC, Suzy Barbee and husband Lee of Morehead City, NC, August Stock of Morehead City, NC, Eva Stock of Quincy, IL, and Tom Stock of Apex, NC; sister, Teri Foust of Broomfield, CO; and her sister-in-law, Mary Kay Hagar of Dubuque, IA. Along with her greatest joy and love of her life, her precious granddaughter, Suzann Gille of St. Louis, MO.</p> <p>Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lowise Hagar; brother, Ralph “Bub” Hagar; and sister, Norma Wolkitt.</p> <p>At her request, in her final wishes, there will be no funeral service.
