Shirley F. Speelman

Morenci - Shirley F. Speelman, age 84 of Morenci, passed away early Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. Shirley was born on October 18, 1937, in Lyons, OH, the daughter of Earl and Dora (Schafer) Simpkins. Shirley was a 1955 graduate of Morenci High School. On March 24, 1956, she married Earl "John" Speelman and he survives.

In addition to her husband, John, Shirley is survived by her children, Ken (Jackie) Speelman and Cindy (Steve) Crowell; grandchildren, Stacy (Stephen) Fiddie, Justin (Dawn) Crowell, Jessica (Greg) Negrete, Kayla Speelman, KC Speelman, and Shane (Kayla) Speelman; nine great grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Hall, Barbara Baker, Beverly (Mike) Cowell, Sharon Schmidt, and Maurice (Nancy) Simpkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arnold Simpkins, Ronald Simpkins, Lanny Simpkins; a sister, Wanda Anderson; and grandson, Clint Crowell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM, at the Eagle-Marry Funeral Home - Morenci Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Morenci. Reverend William Van Valkenburg will officiate.
